Recent North Carolina legislation shifted responsibilities for operating local child support enforcement programs from the State to the counties. As a result, the nine counties chose to band together to hire a private vendor.
Union County North Carolina Awards Contract to YoungWilliams
The Union County Commissioners recently selected YoungWilliams to operate the County’s Child Support Program through a competitive bidding process. Union County is one of the counties impacted by recent state legislation that mandated county governments assume responsibility for operating local child support programs.
Nebraska Awards Call Center Rebid to YoungWilliams
YoungWilliams Operations President, Bob Johnson, announced that Nebraska has again chosen YoungWilliams to operate its statewide Child Support Customer Service Call Center. The new contract begins August 1, 2010.
The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TN DHS) awarded YoungWilliams a five-year contract to provide child support services for approximately 5,500 cases in the 27th Judicial District covering Obion and Weakley Counties in West Tennessee. YoungWilliams will begin delivering services on January 1, 2010.
The State of Mississippi has selected YoungWilliams to provide services for 30,000 child support cases in 13 counties, and implement a statewide customer service call center. The contract, with renewals, is for four years.
Hawaii Hires YoungWilliams for Customer Service Training
The Hawaii Child Support Enforcement Agency (CSEA), Office of the Attorney General, recently awarded a contract to YoungWilliams to provide customer service training to its two hundred employees.

The Iowa Department of Human Services, Bureau of Collections (BOC) recently awarded a $2.5 million contract for operation of its Specialized Customer Service Unit (SCSU) Center in Marshalltown, Iowa to YoungWilliams. YoungWilliams opened its doors on January 2, 2009 after a smooth transition from the previous vendor.
YoungWilliams has been awarded a new contract with the Virginia Department of Social Services (DSS), Division of Child Support Enforcement (DCSE) for operation of its Child Support Customer Service Center.
