Tennessee Selects YoungWilliams to Operate Nashville Child Support Office
The Tennessee Department of Human Services (TDHS) entered into its second consecutive contract with YoungWilliams for operation of its Davidson County Child Support Office in Nashville, Tennessee covering the 20th Judicial District. YoungWilliams’ Project Manager, Keith Baker, will continue to provide leadership to this project.
During its initial contract period, YoungWilliams concentrated on engaging parents, enhancing service delivery, and implementing the two-generation and family-centered models that are the hallmarks of the Tennessee Department of Human Services. As a result, performance improved in all five federally-measured performance areas. YoungWilliams increased the percentage of cases with support orders from 78% to 85%. Until support orders are established, there is no legal obligation to pay support.
As part of its commitment to excellent customer service and parental engagement, YoungWilliams added a Resource Room to its office last year for parents to access information that will help them with employment, education, and parenting. The room is furnished with a desk, computer, and pamphlets about Tennessee programs. In recognition of YoungWilliams’ excellence in service delivery, TDHS presented the Nashville office with its 2017 Customer Focus Award, and recognized YoungWilliams for embracing the family-centered approach.
"We are proud to be a member of the TDHS Team," commented Alyson Campbell, YoungWilliams Regional Vice President, who oversees projects in the eastern region of the United States. “The Department is truly dedicated to helping Tennesseans achieve a better quality of life and we share that vision. YoungWilliams is fully invested in the success of this project and looks forward to its continuing partnership with the state.”
YoungWilliams has over 1,200 employees located in 60 offices throughout the United States. The firm manages 67% of the nation’s outsourced child support caseload.
